This one got me from the title. In fact, it was Sloane Howell herself who got my attention. This is why social media has become relevant. I decided this was a book I had to read and review.
The title is eye catching but the opening line grips you. The introduction is honest, open but leaves just enough mystery to entice you to either delve in or back off reluctantly.
The raw sexual honesty of this novel was captivating and exciting.
The descriptive nature of the writing not only brought the visual to mind but also made you feel things and want to feel things. The character, Joel is that bad boy with a kinky side all women secretly want. He is slick and smooth. Some readers might think he's a jerk for just having wild sex with women with no intention of having a relationship with them. I am one of those but I am looking from his perspective now. He is a walking fantasy well; the sexy human version of a wishing well. You stand there, hoping that your dream, by some miracle, will come true. This character sniffs out the fantasies of these women and grants it.
I have to say, this is bold writing. There is none of that sugar coating. It's given to you raw and that makes reading it more fantastic. Strange enough, I want to know more about this man and his escapades.
I am going to dig a little deeper with the other books in the series, written by Howell. Head over to Amazon and get your dose of hot and steamy. I call this one "devilishly delicious".
